While personal mental illness and a family history of mental illness are often risk factors for good faith suicide, they are – summarized as mental health problems – just one of the many underlying causes of suicide that I have discovered in my research. I had thought about it, and the fact that my suicide between November 2013 and May 2014 had never been diagnosed with a mental illness before or after. Somehow my ex-husband and ex-office manager had not paid taxes on my practice, and since I was the sole owner and proprietor, the IRS took every penny I had from every bank account I had. These were people who had never had a previously recorded mental illness. In my case, I had discovered that I was guilty of the IRS money because of my ex-husband and ex-staff chief who had confused my beloved firm and left me alone to eliminate the chaos; after all, the firm had only been in my name.
